- By Bus:
- Stagecoach East Kent operate services 4B (going clockwise from Canterbury to Whitstable, Herne Bay and then back to Canterbury) and 6B (the anti-clockwise route) that pass close to the Waterfront Club, with a bus stop at Tower Parade. On the Bank Holiday Monday a Sunday service should be in operation and bus times can be found by calling 08702 433711.
- By Car:
- Getting to the venue by car is relatively easy by taking the M2/A2 and the A299 (Thanet Way) to get to Whitstable and then following the B2055 through the town. The race HQ, the Waterfront Club, is on the eastern end of Whitstable, near Tankerton, on Beach Walk (see map).
Please note that as there is no local parking it is essential for you to use the town car parks which are well sign-posted. The nearest is Gorrel Tank car park, off Tower Parade. - By Train:
- Whitstable train station is to the south of the race HQ and is about 10 minutes walk away. Trains between London Victoria and Thanet pass through the station. Call 08457 48 49 50 for train information or see the Network Rail website.
